Italian Conducting Academy

The Italian Conducting Academy of Milan was founded in 2012 by the Milanese conductor Gilberto Serembe, trained at the prestigious school of Mario Gusella, Franco Ferrara and Bruno Bettinelli. As a professor at the Accademia Musicale Pescarese and at the Conservatories of Milan, Genoa and Brescia he has trained many Italian and foreign conductors now established internationally among which: Riccardo Frizza, Daniele Rustioni, Fabio Mastrangelo, Diego Ceretta, Roberto Fores, Alvaro Albiach. The peculiarity of this school consists of theoretical and practical lessons which exclusively involve the presence of the orchestra and not the use of the pianos. The lessons are divided into different orchestral groups: string orchestra, chamber orchestra and symphony orchestra. After an exam it is possible to obtain a Diploma at the end of the Three-year advanced training course and the Two-year specialization Master's degree.
